Terms of service
Please see below my terms and conditions. By placing your order (for Studio Collections) or paying your non-refundable booking fee (for Bespoke design) and accepting the work on your stationery to begin, you are accepting these terms.
Your stationery order price includes 3 proofs. Further proofs or any additional amendment requests will by charged at my hourly rate of £50 p/h.
Please note, proof updates include font & colour changes, text and graphic positioning, or small amendments to layout design, card size and small styling elements of your stationery design. They do not include re-draws of illustrations or a complete change to the overall style/theme of your design - in these instances, the project will require to be re-quoted on.
COPYRIGHT
I can provide matching on-the-day stationery items to match your invitations, and can discuss print and price options with you when required. If you wish to use some of the design elements created for your stationery, to produce additional pieces yourself, I offer a ‘design release’ option to all of my clients. I can provide the required elements such as fonts, calligraphy, any artwork or sketches, inaccessible files, for a nominal fee. This design release fee is dependent on the nature and quantity of design elements you require.
Design release fees start at £100.
RUSH SERVICES
The client understands that requests for rush delivery incur an additional fee. This will be an agreed percentage of final job total depending on urgency, payable at the consultation stage of the process, in additional to the 50% deposit amount.
If no rush service is paid for, it is understood that the turnaround will be determined by the designer and approximated at the start of the project and outlined to you during consultation.
SAMPLES AND PHOTOGRAPHY
PRINTING AND COLOUR VARIATIONS
If you wish to see a sample of the print quality or card stock available, I do offer samples of the Studio Collection that can be purchased prior to order. These are not personalized to you and generic in their content and design, but will allow you to see the level of quality you can expect to receive in your own stationery.
CANCELLATION
DELIVERY
Both Studio Collection and Bespoke design orders destined for the UK are costed with delivery charges included.
Alf & Alba accepts no responsibility for items lost in the post or delayed due to postal strikes or circumstances out of my control.
International orders are most welcome and the best option for delivery will be sourced for these. Please be aware local charges for items posted outside the UK are the responsibility of the recipient.
The designer retains all copyright and ownership of the end product as a standardised measure. If exclusive ownership is required, this will incur an additional fee – and can be discussed and agreed on if required. Dependent on usage requirements and scope.
To ensure the quality and integrity of my work, artwork provided by the designer must not be used for any additional printed wedding item not provided by Alf & Alba Design. Re-purposing images from digital proofs sent for your approval, without payment, is prohibited. Any clients found to be in breach of this will be subject to a surcharge or further legal action.
BOOKING FEES AND PAYMENT
Studio Collections or orders based on existing designs require full payment before work on you order begins. For Bespoke design orders, the design fee quoted is due in full along with 50% of the print and production costs for your selected stationery options, before work commences on your design. The remaining 50% print/production cost is due before printing starts. Payments can be made via bank transfer or Paypal, with all details of these payment methods included on your invoice.
Payment is required to be made within 14 days of receiving your invoice. If any additional charges are incurred, for things like add-on items, additional design work or more updates than originally quoted for, I will inform you of these before adjusting your final invoice.
DATA PROTECTION
All details collected from you are completely confidential and will only be seen by Alf & Alba and our print suppliers if deemed necessary. Only information required for your order and shipping will be asked of you.
This personal data will be deleted by Alf & Alba after 90 days of completing your order and any emails will be deleted after 12 months. Invoices will be retained for 7 years for tax purposes.
