Terms & Conditions

Please see below my terms and conditions.  By placing your order (for Studio Collections) or paying your booking fee (for Bespoke design) and accepting the work on your stationery to begin, you are accepting these terms.



Throughout the design process you will be sent PDF proofs of your stationery for you to check layout, design, wording and spelling.  Please make sure that you check these proofs carefully to ensure all details are correct.  Alf & Alba will take no responsibility for any mistakes signed off at final proof stage by you.

Your stationery order price includes 2 proofs.  And for bespoke designs – an additional 2 to confirm initial design and theme.  Further proofs or any additional amendment requests will by charged at my hourly rate of £35 p/h.



All designs, both Studio Collection and Bespoke, will remain the intellectual property of Alf & Alba.  Attempts by you or any third party to copy or reproduce any of my designs from the pdf proofs sent will be pursued.

I can provide matching on-the-day stationery items to match your invitations, and can discuss print and price options with you when required. I do understand that we’re all on a budget however, and goodness knows, weddings can be expensive.  If you wish to use some of the design elements created for your stationery, to produce additional pieces yourself, I offer a ‘design release’ option to all of my clients.  I can provide the required elements such as fonts, calligraphy, any artwork or sketches, in accessible files, for a nominal fee.  This design release fee is dependent on the quantity of design elements you require, but for more information or to discuss options, please email me at emma@alfandalba.com



Alf & Alba reserves the right to use samples of your stationery for photographs, portfolio, wedding fairs and marketing purposes, including using them on social media and the website.  Sensitive content such as addresses or contact numbers will be censored for your protection.  I will endeavor to only share any images of your stationery until after your wedding date.



Please note that minor discrepancies in colour, tone, sizing and layout may occur between your pdf proof and your printed stationery. Colours in particular can look slightly different from one screen to another, so please be aware of this when ordering.  The discrepancies are generally very minor and almost unnoticeable and are not classed as a fault, however Alf & Alba are unable to guarantee an exact match from screen to final print.

If you wish to see a sample of the print quality or card stock available, I do offer samples of the Studio Collection that can be purchased prior to order.  These are not personalized to you and generic in their content and design, but will allow you to see the level of quality you can expect to receive in your own stationery.



In the event of an order being cancelled by you, Alf & Alba are unable to provide any form of refund once the work has commenced.  In the unlikely event that Alf & Alba has to cancel your order, a full refund will be provided.



I use Royal Mail Special Delivery or Parcelforce, which are tracked and insured, for all orders.

Studio Collection prices are inclusive of delivery charges. For Bespoke orders, delivery pricing will be confirmed once printing options have been selected and finalised by you.

Alf & Alba accepts no responsibility for items lost in the post or delayed due to postal strikes or circumstances out of my control.

International orders are most welcome and the best option for delivery will be sourced for these.  Please be aware local charges for items posted outside the UK are the responsibility of the recipient.



Studio Collections can be purchased through the website and require full payment before work on you order begins. For Bespoke orders, the design fee can be paid via the website using the relevant product page.  If you would prefer to pay via bank transfer, an invoice will be emailed to you with your balance and the required bank details. 

Studio Collections will arrive printed with corresponding envelopes.  For Bespoke orders print costs are in addition to the design fee.  A final invoice for all printing will be sent following final sign off by the client.  This must be paid before any printing commences.

Payment is required to be made within 14 days of receiving your invoice.  If any additional charges are incurred, for things like add-on items, additional design work or more updates than originally quoted for, I will inform you of these before adjusting your final invoice.



All details collected from you are completely confidential and will only be seen by Alf & Alba and our print suppliers if deemed necessary. Only information required for your order and shipping will be asked of you.

This personal data will be deleted by Alf & Alba after 90 days of completing your order and any emails will be deleted after 12 months. Invoices will be retained for 7 years for tax purposes.
